Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Efficiently retrieve items from shelves and pack them securely for shipping using provided equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packing to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Shipping Preparation: Label packages accurately, weigh shipments, and prepare them for courier pickup.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of packing stations and machinery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and move around the warehouse floor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Communication: Basic English skills to communicate effectively with team leads and fellow staff.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
