Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damage before storing.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick items for orders using warehouse management systems and ensure accurate packing for safe transit.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep storage areas organized, clean, and tidy to maximize workflow efficiency.
- Customer Support: Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and answering inquiries regarding stock availability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software (WMS) quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
