Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Partner with C-suite to align tech innovation with business growth objectives
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation lab team
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships
- Present future tech visions to investors and industry leaders
- Drive patent development and IP protection for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching game-changing products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs (>$50M budget preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- PhD or equivalent in relevant technical field (or demonstrable expertise)
- Published thought leadership in future tech publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
