Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify products against purchase orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Climate Control: Monitor and maintain storage temperatures to ensure product integrity and safety compliance.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move stock efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding heavy lifting and cold exposure.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Shipment Preparation: Label, wrap, and stage goods for outbound delivery in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is preferred.
- Certification: Current forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain organized records.
