Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize temperature-sensitive inventory within the cold storage facility.
- Monitor storage units to ensure temperatures remain within critical safety parameters.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent accidents and product spoilage.
Qualifications
- Ability to work comfortably in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F).
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is highly preferred.
- Forklift certification is a significant plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
