Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Accurately stock and retrieve products, ensuring inventory counts match system records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trailers and trucks, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License (sometimes required for yard driving).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time shifts, including nights or weekends as needed.
