Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments
- Maintain precise temperature control protocols (-10°F to 30°F zones)
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation systems
- Conduct daily safety inspections of refrigeration units and loading docks
- Document inventory movements using WMS systems with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities for efficient cold chain operations
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Basic inventory management system proficiency
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring documentation
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
