Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 10+ warehouse staff to achieve daily productivity targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Optimize inventory management systems including receiving, storage, and fulfillment processes
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely dock scheduling and efficient loading/unloading
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and operational supplies inventory
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Experience with inventory control methods (FIFO, cycle counting)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
