Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Process Improvement: Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and inspection of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehousing or logistics environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Licensing: Valid Forklift Operator License (CDL preferred but not mandatory).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
