Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanning systems and digital tracking platforms
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and enforce OSHA safety protocols
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and dock operations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Train new hires on forklift operation and safety procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience (certification required)
- OSHA Forklift Certification and valid driver's license
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero-accident record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
