Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts, stock inspections, and manage inbound/outbound shipments to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a focus on speed and error reduction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on machinery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs for shipping manifests and quality control reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B) is required; training available for qualified candidates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow complex instructions and safety procedures.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
