Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport goods throughout the facility
- Execute precise inventory management and cycle counting procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Optimize warehouse efficiency through strategic pallet stacking and storage
- Coordinate with production teams for seamless material flow
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time tracking
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of material handling experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
