Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inventory Accuracy: Check goods for damage, verify counts against packing lists, and log data into inventory management systems.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package items for shipment, apply labels, and arrange transport according to schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse floor and organize stock in designated areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic inspection and cleaning of warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
- License: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends during peak seasons.
