As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will act as the bridge between management and floor operations, driving efficiency and ensuring a safe work environment for all staff members.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage and waste.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement improvements to increase throughput and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification and willingness to obtain OSHA 10/30 training.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or WMS) and basic computer literacy.
