Responsibilities
- Pack Orders: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to customer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, damages, or incorrect specifications before packing.
- Labeling: Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and documentation correctly to ensure smooth logistics.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment to move stock.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and order integrity.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for reading labels and verifying quantities.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a good work history.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not always required.
