Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock accuracy.
- Streamline operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Train new staff on proper equipment usage, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the management team to forecast staffing needs and coordinate logistics planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse supervision or management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
