Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and organizing storage areas.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy loads and load/unload trailers.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet quality standards before shipment.
- Material Handling: Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and organize raw materials or finished goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Complete necessary shipping documents and logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
