Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate various warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Perform inbound and outbound scanning, sorting, and stocking activities to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package items to ensure safe delivery, applying appropriate labels and shipping methods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all quality standards are met before shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily productivity targets and goals.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency required for safety instructions and communication.
- Work History: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level roles.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning and sorting packages.
