Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily safety inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure proper labeling and storage of products.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and maintaining proper traffic flow.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand production orders.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse software (WMS).
