Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to improve productivity and morale.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance for forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Oversee the accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle escalated customer service issues and resolve operational bottlenecks efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in a warehouse supervisor or team lead role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
