Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and efficient to streamline workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and coworkers to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for immediate hire.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counts; ability to read and follow labels and pick lists.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator License (if required by role).
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn new processes.
- Equipment: Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse management software (WMS).
