Job Overview
In this role, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment operations. You will ensure customer orders are picked accurately and packed securely for shipment. Attention to detail and physical stamina are key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately retrieve items from storage shelves based on customer orders and pack them into boxes or crates for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to the inventory team to ensure accuracy.
- Labeling & Documentation: Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and packing slips correctly to all outgoing packages.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage before packing and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified) to move stock efficiently.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and keep your workspace clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy rates.
- Work History: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or nights if necessary.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a positive attitude.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read labels, count inventory, and perform basic arithmetic.
