Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging products during the put-away and picking processes.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including pallet stacking and debris removal.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL or forklift license preferred, but willing to train).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Brooklyn facility.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
