Responsibilities
- Select and gather products from the warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information, barcodes, and destination details.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
