As an Inventory Clerk, you will be the guardian of our stock. Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy against system records.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments to ensure they match purchase orders and are free of damage.
- Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy inventory logs using SAP, Oracle, or Excel.
- Retrieve stock items efficiently using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to optimize storage and retrieval efficiency.
- Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods immediately to the supervisor.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification provided upon hire).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel is critical) and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a strong plus.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
