Job Summary
As a Weekend Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. You will be responsible for selecting, checking, and packing products to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will operate within a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and verify products from the warehouse inventory using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Package items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and organizing pallets.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects before packing and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment center environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying order quantities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
