Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and spreadsheets.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments against purchase orders (POs) efficiently.
- Assist in organizing warehouse storage areas and tagging new stock for easy retrieval.
- Report any damaged goods, missing items, or system errors to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
- Utilize barcode scanners and handheld devices to track inventory movement and stock levels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
