Responsibilities
- Perform accurate physical inventory counts and cycle counts on a daily basis.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure correctness.
- Update and maintain digital inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Identify and investigate discrepancies in stock levels and report findings to management.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse storage areas.
- Utilize barcode scanners and handheld devices to track product movement efficiently.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to streamline logistics operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
