Responsibilities
- Receiving & Processing: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify quantities against packing slips, and update the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately.
- Stock Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to maintain 99.9% accuracy in stock records.
- Data Entry: Maintain precise digital logs of stock movements, including transfers, returns, and disposals.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure stock is rotated according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols and stored in designated zones for easy retrieval.
- Reporting: Identify discrepancies in inventory counts and work with the management team to resolve variances.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep scanning equipment and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and experience with inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl) is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
