Job Overview:
As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, processing incoming and outgoing goods, and maintaining precise records. If you have a knack for numbers and enjoy a fast-paced warehouse environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventories to ensure 100% stock accuracy.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and log items into the WMS.
- Operate barcode scanners and inventory management software to update stock databases in real-time.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods immediately.
- Assist in the organization of warehouse storage areas to maintain safety and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline picking and packing processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
