What You Will Do:
As our Inventory Clerk, you will be the gatekeeper of our stock. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with the warehouse team to streamline operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity and condition.
- Perform regular cycle counts and year-end physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy standards.
- Update and maintain digital inventory records in our ERP system (SAP/Oracle experience preferred).
- Label, stock, and organize warehouse inventory to ensure efficient retrieval and storage.
- Identify discrepancies in stock levels and investigate root causes to prevent future errors.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding inventory status and stock movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
