Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock counts to ensure accurate inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies immediately.
- Update inventory databases using our ERP system (SAP/Oracle) to track stock movements in real-time.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying paperwork and ensuring accurate labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to facilitate efficient inventory retrieval and safety compliance.
- Assist with monthly audits and generate reports regarding stock shortages or damages.
- Communicate with purchasing and sales teams to resolve inventory gaps and backorder issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a warehouse setting (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and physical stock.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for calculating quantities, costs, and margins accurately.
