Responsibilities
- Perform daily physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Update inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or Excel) with incoming and outgoing stock data.
- Assist in the receiving, sorting, and staging of merchandise for shipping.
- Reconcile physical inventory against digital records and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Generate and distribute inventory reports to management on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline stock placement and retrieval processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Proficient in using handheld scanners and inventory management software.
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
