Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock checks, organization, and auditing processes.
- Train new hires and mentor existing team members to improve performance and morale.
- Manage shipping and receiving procedures to guarantee accurate order fulfillment.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for productivity improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
