Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Update inventory management systems (ERP) in real-time to reflect stock levels and locations.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient retrieval and storage.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding inventory turnover and stock shortages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners, computers, and inventory software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic math skills for calculating stock quantities and value.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
