Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, check for damages, and accurately record inventory data using RF scanners.
- Picking and Packing: Retrieve orders from the warehouse floor, pick items according to pick lists, and prepare them for shipping to ensure high accuracy rates.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and organizing stock areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of handling equipment and report any malfunctions to management immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and logs for daily operations, including stock counts and shipping manifests.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a significant plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
