Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, purchase orders, and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance checks and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Keep the warehouse organized and maintain a clean work area at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus; we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
