Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic scanning and documentation
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs to prevent operational disruptions
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Prepare and organize shipments for timely dispatch to distribution centers
- Support warehouse operations during peak periods and special projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/material handling environment
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and barcode scanners
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math abilities for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
