Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and record incoming and outgoing stock to maintain precise inventory levels.
- Picking & Packing: Retrieve orders efficiently, verify accuracy, and prepare items for shipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on handling equipment and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of stock movements and reconcile discrepancies with the inventory system.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform heavy manual labor.
- Licenses: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
