Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Manage inventory levels by accurately counting stock, verifying quantities, and updating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and adheres to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline workflow processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance checks and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Forklift certification (valid) is a strong plus but not mandatory for all positions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.
