Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments to ensure inventory accuracy and organization.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to strict quality standards and deadlines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and keeping aisles clear.
- Documentation: Properly complete and maintain necessary paperwork, including inventory logs and shipping manifests, using scanning equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow and problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one within training period).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tracking.
