Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, count stock, and ensure accurate records using WMS software.
- Organization: Stack products in designated areas and ensure warehouse aisles are clear for safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging standards are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; strong attention to detail.
- Certification: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
