Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Prepare and load outbound shipments onto trailers or trucks, ensuring proper securing and documentation.
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory adjustments to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as sweeping, organizing, and tagging inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory status and workflow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners is preferred.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
