As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our inventory flows smoothly and our distribution center remains the gold standard for efficiency. Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and railcars using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Perform inventory counts and stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Package and prepare products for shipping with attention to detail and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and 5S standards.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the organization of warehouse aisles and storage areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for inventory and scanning.
- Forklift certification is a plus but we will train qualified candidates.
