Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damages, and discrepancies against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and stock placement in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and update inventory logs in real-time.
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to streamline operations and meet daily production goals.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, including palletizing and wrapping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus but not required).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures strictly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
