As a Material Handler, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that goods move efficiently and safely from receiving to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and correct labeling.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, organizing stock and materials as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and manage workflow efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on provided equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if required.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
