Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facility. You will work closely with the inventory management team to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move, locate, and set materials within the warehouse.
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and cross-reference packing slips for accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using appropriate packaging materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by complying with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory status and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we provide training for qualified candidates).
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
