Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to move stock and materials within the facility.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and properly labeled.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in training junior staff on proper handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage documentation for shipping and receiving, including bills of lading and packing lists.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Certified forklift operator (preferred) or willing to get certified.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
