Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently move incoming and outgoing merchandise using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting stock and verifying accuracy of inventory records to ensure stock levels meet company standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety regulations and 5S procedures.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with high accuracy and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other departments to ensure seamless workflow and meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed.
