What You’ll Do
In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are moved, stored, and tracked with precision.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Forklift Operation: Operate various material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts and reach trucks, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, organizing pallets, and removing debris.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and report discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (we provide training for the right candidates).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform heavy physical labor in varying temperatures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and safety compliance.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
